Joanne Russo-Cain

Joanne is a licensed Executive Leadership, Relationship & Life Coach. She runs a private coaching and consulting practice and is also the co-founder of Encore Retreat, a luxury retreat company offering client experiences focused on wellness and longevity, leadership and life coaching.

 

Joanne draws her expertise from a 20-year global career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. She then specialized in the neuroscience of leadership and coaching and is trained to coach the mindsets & behavioral patterns that align with differentiated leadership performance and cultural transformations at scale.

 

For the past nine years, Joanne has been a Senior Affiliate Advisor with McKinsey & Company where she partnered with client teams to elevate individual and top team effectiveness.  She has also supported Firm Learning programs for consultants and partners as a lead facilitator and coaching resource. 

 

Joanne has won awards with Brandon Hall for her cultural transformation work with Cigna Healthcare for program design and metric performance in support of Cigna’s Customer Centric strategy. The partnership with Cigna saw exponential increases in customer net promoter scores, year over year, as well as internal improvements in employee engagement ratings across all functions participating in the program. 

 

Working closely with clients with late-life ADHD, ADD, & Autism diagnoses has inspired Joanne to further her education in this field. She is drawn to coaching approaches that work best for these clients and also to consulting with corporations wishing to support their "neuro-divergent" leaders. Recognizing and leveraging the strengths associated with "neuro-diversity", Joanne believes, will create a huge unlock for a company's productivity and employee engagement levels.
